APPLICATIONS.
| Applications. APPLICATIONS ARE CURRENTLY: CLOSED. Please post your application to your character's journal and link it in the comments below. In your comment, put your character's NAME and CANON in the subject title. All comments are screened. Players can submit applications for up to two characters per round. PLAYER INFO PLAYER: name, pronouns. OVER 18? yes/no (players must be over 18). CONTACT: plurk/discord/pm/etc. OTHER CHARACTERS: put n/a if you don't have any! INVITED BY: who you were invited by, or put n/a if you are already in the game. CHARACTER INFO NAME: self-explanatory. include codenames and relevant aliases! if your character only has one name, please provide a second name for the sake of naming convention. AGE: approximations are okay! CANON: self-explanatory. PB: link us to a picture/gif. APPEARANCE NOTES: if your character's appearance has been altered in any way to be in the game (e.g. an elf's pointed ears becoming rounded), please note those differences here. CANON HISTORY: for canon characters, a link to a wikipedia will suffice! in the case of original characters, please give us a brief run-down! PULL-POINT: from when in their timeline are you pulling this character? most importantly, this will be when we assume when this character has been severed and brought into the game setting, so please include your reasoning as to why they would have been severed in the first place. severing does not have to be a voluntary process. your character will not remember that this happened to them. PERSONALITY: this will be the most intensive part of this application. your character has been severed in order to come to kier, which means that their personality has almost been reset. they are themselves, but without any memory of the exact canon events that have shaped them up to that point. for instance, a character born into a life of privilege would not necessarily remember that advantage. do you think they would still retain a certain amount of arrogance because that's such a primary part of how they move through life? or would they no longer have any confidence without those trappings around them? does your character have a reckless streak that an incident in their life made them tamp down? would it come back out after severing? we ask you to give this a lot of thought, and accordingly expect this to be the most in-depth portion of your application. you may also keep some canon events in your character's memory, but they would have to be altered to fit the game's setting, e.g. if your character had a brother who passed away, that's fine to keep, but whereas in the original canon they might have been murdered or turned into some supernatural creature, in their new memories it would become a car accident or something equally "innocuous." OCCUPATION: where does your character work? what is their job? Please fill the following section out only if your character works on the Severed Floor of Lumon. If they don't, feel free to delete this block or leave it blank.RESIDENCE: where does your character live? please refer to the housing page. DURATION: how long has your character lived in kier? this will only apply to beta phase applicants; for new applicants, put n/a or provide a compelling reason as to why you'd like your character to have been around for a while. DETAILS: this is where you can request for your character to be housed with a specific other character. please specify if these characters are to be married or simply roommates. if you if you and another player have made an agreement, the information on both applications must match. if you do not have a match but would like one, put that here and we'll see what we can do. POWERS: if your character possesses any special abilities, please list them here for the sake of the mods. Reserves. Reserves operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
